I got second in a $5K tourney last night and the payout showed $1,000 but I only received $942 approximately. I thought it was a guaranteed tourney. I bought in for $44+ using credits, perhaps that was deducted. He rivered a straight and that started a sick rush of chip accumulation. I was damn lucky to even get points after having 15,600 chips when the avg. was 4200 (donking 5000 of that to Miami Don shoving 66 from bb allin over his button raised KK didn't help).
