GoldenHammer takes down the 12k WSOP Seat Package

Congrats to our kamikaze friend GoldenHammer for winning the Bodog TOC and a golden opportunity to play in the 2008 WSOP Main Event.

The last five months have been an incredible ride in the Bodog Blogger Series. NewinNov pretty much owned it from the get go and never looked back. He final tabled the TOC but, wasn’t able to get it done.

Although it was a points race, it still wasn’t a cakewalk. Many players (including me) were sweating the final tournament before the TOC to find out who would have their shot at the greatest poker tournament in the world.

Unfortunately for me, things didn’t come together this week like they did last week. But, I’m ok with how I went out. I died on a sick cooler on the river.

Several months ago, I contacted a PokerWorks reporter who planned to be onsite covering the WSOP to find out if she would be interested in following the progress of our winner as well as BBT3 winners.

She agreed.

There are at least six (6) bloggahs who’ve won WSOP seats through the BBT3 and Bodog Blogger Series and will be followed on PokerWorks throughout their adventure if they decide to play and not pocket the $$$.

I really enjoy hearing how players turned their Bodog t$ into cheddah. BuddyDank won the Bodog $5k Guaranteed for $1500 while warming up for the TOC, getting A-A twenty times and sucking on his box-o-wine. Well done Buddy!
