Who would go to the effort to create an anonymous blog and screen name bashing poker bloggers, the tournament host and Bodog while benefiting from the added t$ every week? While at the same time trying to qualify and cash in some of the big prizes in our final tournament?
After backing himself into a corner, he finally “came out”.
Yesterday he put up a post claiming it was all a joke and “some people” got together to write a blog around his play. “These guys are mostly monkeys, as reflected in their posts” (his words).
Who are “these monkeys”. Are we really so naive to believe any of this? It’s a classic example of deferring blame.
He dragged several bloggers through the mud and swamp anonymously while at the same time “acting” as a legitimate friend of the poker blogger community.
I left this comment on his post Tuesday which he promptly deleted. I wonder how many other comments were deleted.

i think this is a bunch of BS. you bashed "Blowdog" as you called it on this blog while anonymously competing against everyone for the added prizes every week and a shot at the WSOP grand prize. i think it's sad that you would go to such lengths to hide behind ICB and Blogger Crusher's blog this whole time. the only reason you came out is because you were forced to.
this whole situation says alot about who you really are.
i sent you an email yesterday asking you to admit you were ICB and you never responded. probably cuz you were scrambling around trying to come up this bogus story and were just too embarrassed to man up.

While we’ve taken some jabs at each other over the years, I actually considered him a friend before this. My wife helped him decide on a gift to bring back to his better half during last summer’s WPBT gathering which he later said she loved.
Tina is not amused by any of this.
I realize “fighting” over the internets belongs in the Special Olympics but, was I expected to ignore it?
After he outted himself as ICrushBloggers, I spent most of the day (Tuesday) in discussions about whether he should be disqualified from the Bodog TOC for creating a bogus blog he “claims” he wasn’t even posting to (allegedly).
I expressed to leave him in. We agreed to let him play. He had no impact on the outcome anyway. Except gifting ScottyMac a bunch of chips like I did.
My finish in the Bodog TOC was a huge disappointment to me. Finding out one of your friends is a two-faced liar was disappointing as well.

Well put. I expect a certain amount of pompousity on his blog, but this episode goes a bit more beyond the pale. Disappointing, to be sure.
He's a very strong player, and I'd like to think a nice guy, but douchebaggery is douchebaggery. But it's teh interwebs, so it'll pass.

I like Hoy and will continue to like Hoy, but I have to admit, this bothered me as well. I had my suspicions that it was Hoy from the start, but I wasn't sure. I wish I could have picked an anon name and played this tournament. I understand that other bloggers picked other names - Blinders and LJ did this - but didn't try to hide the fact that they were those people.
I was heads-up once with ICB and would have benefited greatly from the fact that I knew for sure it was Hoy. He had that advantage against me. I didn't. I don't think it's just a coincedence (sp) that once Hoy was outed he was quickly dispatched by the other players in the freeroll Tuesday.

I completely agree smoke. I took the gloves off and posted my true thoughts on the situation. Its great read for the growing number of hoy haters out there. This type of BS needs to stop immediately.

Sorry to hear someone shit on the Bodog tournies. I agree with ya here. It is one thing to rip on it but to take advantage of the benefits is BS.
I've been out of the poker blogger loop for a long time now an stumbled across this drama last night. So disappointing. I'm glad it's over.
