situation FUBAR
where do i even start. yesterday's Charger game was a disaster. our offense only scored one TD after four tries in the red zone in the 1st half and go into half-time with a 10 point lead. then come out flat in the 2nd half. unable to score while turning the ball over three times. our defense gives up another bunch o' points and we're unable to score on 1st and goal from the 5 yard line on our last drive because our coaching staff thought it would be a good idea to throw the ball on 4 straight downs instead of handing it off to last year's league MVP.
sigh
it looks to be a loooooooong season for Charger fans. our GM hosed us up so good, we're gonna be dealing with this mess for at least 2-3 years. what a letdown from last year.
well at least my Fantasy team kicked some ass yesterday. umm not really.
QB B. Roethlisberger PIT 20.4 (avg score compared to prev week's numbers)
WR S. Holmes PIT 24.7 (took up the slack for H. Ward)
WR R. Williams DET 5.3 (underachieved)
WR T. Owens DAL 3.3 (ditto)
RB W. Parker PIT 6.6 (unable to run the ball against AZ)
RB D. Foster CAR 6.1 (unable to run against TB)
TE B. Franks GBP 3.0 (eh)
KI N. Kaeding SDC 12.5 (benefited from SD's inability to score TD's)
DE D. SDC 3.0 (can't stop anyone)
i finished 5th in my blogger battle contest. Tina whomped ass again. she offered to give me some lessons in Fantasy Football roster selection.
ugh
well, at least i'm doing well enough in NLHE full ring games, finishing out September +$2100 after 11k hands.

The offense is sad and predictible and Rivers is a chump.
What happened to that bad ass defense from a year ago?
Back to a middle of the pack team. Hope you enjoyed the couple of good years you had because I don't see them coming back for a while.
