dontcha luv picking up KK in the BB
hope everyone had a fun, safe 4th of July. we decided not to fight the crowds at the beach and chill at home.
there was a big overlay in the 50/50 last night (over $8k) due mostly to the fact it was a holiday. but, FTP also forgot to run any satellites for it. so, i bought in directly.
treading water most of the time before the 1st break. i was sitting on just over T$3k in chips after the break and about half the field left, i pick up KK in the BB. nice huh?
it's folded to the SB who raises me. last orbit he did this and i pushed all in forcing him to fold. this time, i reraise and he reraises me back. schweeet! it all goes in, he flips ATo and obv one of the ten Aces in the deck hits the flop and i'm out.

i lost a TON of 3-1 fav races yesterday.
i finished the night off playing sng's and did well. i also, final tabled the mOOK. it was a small crowd tho. only 26 players.
i ran Ac7c from the button into IslandBum's JackAce which he minraised from EP (weird). i will give him a little credit tho. he thought for a bit before calling off a 3rd of his stack with it.
good times.
mOOk bumped up the starting stacks to 3000 chips. he also cashed in 2nd place. wtg mOOK!

Hehe...don't you love picking up KK, hold it right there. The answer is no, no and no. We all know KK is no g00t...like you said, some donk overplaying his Ax is almost guaranteed to hit one of the (as you said) ten Aces in the friggin deck...and if not...there's sure enough ways to screw you despite that (see my favourite KK vs K3 s00ted hand in last friday's rebuy madness)...
