PokerStars $11 double-shootouts $$$

i've been so unlucky on FullTilt lately, i decided to head back to my old stomping ground, PokerStars. this is where i began playing online back in Nov '04. i never took down any big MTT wins there and played several satellites into the WSOP without any luck. So, i got a bit disgusted with Stars and started playing FullTilt. i did better at Tilt and played there mostly. but, i've been getting so many rediculous beats at Tilt recently, i went back to stars to build my roll there.

i started playing $11 sng's with some success. but, mostly treading water. so, i decided to give the $11.70 double-shootout satellites to the Sunday Million a go. i've played these before with some success. two seats are guaranteed. but, usually there are 3-4 seats awarded at the final table. i decided to play as many as it took to win one then, do it again to see how many it took to win a couple of seats and put together a small sample to review for ROI.

the play is pretty bad. but, it took me 7 tries yesterday to win my first seat. so, approx $80 investment for a T$215 return. today, i played sum more. it took me 5 tries today to win a seat. a $58 investment for a T$215 return.

actual numbers:
-81.90(7x $11.70)
-58.50 (5x $11.70)
+T430 (2x $215.00)
______________
+$289.60 net

as you can see, it's a small sample. but, a very good ROI. these T$ can be sold at multiple sites or used for other sng's. i plan to use this for my sng and mtt play at Stars.

I will give you even money for your T$. I use them like cash so it doesn't matter to me.

Double shootouts rule. That is how I have won entry into all the big events at Stars.

As for FTP - I couldn't agree more. 2006 Year-to-date at FTP = $1300 loss. 2006 Year-to-date at Stars = $7500 profit. And I don't really play that much.

Don't get your tinfoil-hats out yet, but my experience has been quite similar - I'm waaay down at FullTilt and can't seem to catch a break...moved some money back to Stars while they had their anniversary reload bonus and I'm waaaay up there...

No tinfoil, guys. I am winning way more on full tilt this year than at jokerstars. The satellites on full tilt are just not even close to equalled on stars.

That said, I would love to be able to play in this Sunday million bullshit once in a while. Hopefully someday that might happen.

I don't play on Stars, so excuse my ignorance. Are these T$ the equivalent of the Full Tilt tokens? If so, how are they transferable?

Lucko, i'm def gonna take you up on your offer. thx

Mr. Sub, when you win a seat thru a satellite on stars, you are automatically registered for it. just like when you win a satellite on Full tilt. the diff is on Stars, you can unregister and they deposit T$ in your acct that can be sold or used for other MTT's and SNG's. hope that answers your question.
