after 9 years of employment, yesterday i got my walking papers. i also got a nice severance package and an annual bonus check coming in March. so, financially, i'll be ok for some time.
i'm planning to take some time off to study, play and hopefully score some nice tournament cashes. i'm going to play a lot more live games. luckily, i've got several poker rooms within an hour's drive and vegas is only a 4.5 hr drive from us. the LA Poker Classic at Commerce Casino is right around the corner. the first event is next Thursday, January 25th.
