back-2-back-2-back Final Tables

i bought into Sunday's noon tournament at Venetian and finish 4th for $1000 cash. the buy-in to Sunday's tournament was $180 for T$4000 chips at 30 min blind levels. dollar for dollar, Venetian has the best NLHE tournament structure IMHO. i would play these tournaments every day if i could.

the tournament director said we were ahead of schedule when we got to the bubble. it took about 3.5 hrs to get there. 5 spots get paid. then, the action stalled. it took almost an hour to lose two players. then, the four of us trade chips for over an hour before we finally agree to a payout based on chip count. all four of us were playing extremely well. it would've gone on for some time. i was 4th in chips when we chopped the prize pool.

i made back-2-back final tables at Ocean's 11 Saturday tournament last year. but, i've never made 3 consecutive final tables in live MTT play.

my total take home after my last 3 live tournaments is $9100.

i feel like i can walk into any live tournament and make the final table. i made some tuf laydowns, my bluffs were well timed and when i felt i had the best hand, i got paid or took pots down post flop. my confidence in live play is running very high.

i played sum 1/2 NL cash games before and after my tournaments but, no marathon sessions. live MTT takes a lot out of me. i'm drained and exhausted mentally after each event. although, i know i can make more money after my tournament, i just wanted to relax and enjoy the win with a few beers. i was up about $300 in my cash games play. but, i didn't play more than 5 hrs of cash games total all weekend.
